Description
We are hiring a Program Coordinator to join our Impact Team! This individual is responsible for supporting the operational, administrative, and financial aspects of impact initiatives. They will demonstrate superior communication skills, an empathic approach, and the ability to work on a distributed team with a broad range of technical, business, and strategic skills for multiple stakeholders globally.
What You Will Be Doing:
Operations & Administration:
- Coordinate the administration (data, finance, reporting) of impact team partnerships and support.
- Support other core processes, including communications and event coordination as required.
- Support initiatives that strengthen our company’s commitment to people, communities, and the planet.
- Support impact team integration in Steelcase operations, liaising with internal units such as procurement, finance, legal, and HR as required.
- Collaborate with the core business to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Coordinate the evaluation and reporting of impact team strategy and progress to multiple stakeholders (board, senior leaders, management).
Team Support:
- Support with coordinating workshops and events, such as innovation bootcamps, design challenges, webinars and workshops.
- Provide analysis and content preparation (data on projects, PowerPoint presentations, briefs, etc.) for priority topics and executive management meetings.
- Support the Directors of Impact with any other activities as required.
Financial Acumen:
- Manage financial aspects of Impact team projects, including budgeting and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree Business, Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2-3 years of community or social impact work.
- Experience in community impact groups.
- Advanced English level.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Finance and Salesforce experience a plus.
- Strong operational and administrative skills.
- Excellent financial acumen, including experience with budgeting and financial reporting.
- Ability to quickly absorb large amounts of information and logically organize complex information into professionally designed, engaging, and effective segments.
- Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills.
