Research and Policy Intern, Project on New Perspectives on Childhood in the Directorate for Education and Skills
About the New Perspectives on Childhood Project
New Perspectives on Childhood examines how to promote flourishing throughout childhood. It explores the evolving nature of modern childhood and advocates for recognising childhood as a unique and valuable stage of life, rather than a precursor for adulthood. The project aims to identify innovative, evidence-based strategies to empower children and support their well-being. It draws on multidisciplinary research and offers policy-oriented solutions to help children thrive.
This project builds on the 21st Century Children project, which examined modern childhood and explored how schools and communities can collaborate to support and guide children while still giving them the space to learn by taking risks and making mistakes.
