About the role
You will embed deeply and work closely with DepEd/MBHTE SDO and regional offices to successfully scale evidence-based programs supported by Youth Impact, specifically scaling TaRL and mEducation in the Philippines.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the fieldwork, training, post-training support and other organizational workflows are completed at quality. You will ensure program fidelity by providing program-related technical support to schools and teachers, conducting joint monitoring visits and calls with regional and division partners and sharing results and generating insights with program partners.
You will also be responsible for managing logistical success in all field work and training. You will also lead the codification of decisions, protocols, procedures and best practices for institutional memory. You will work with the government on a day-to-day basis, supporting issuance of memos and follow-up and follow-through of memos.
Key responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day partnerships with the SDO and region
- Lead program logistics plans and execute with timeliness and quality with relevant teams for successful implementation of program activities.
- Conduct regular monitoring visits in schools to ensure effective, quality, and standardized program implementation.
- Lead all program-related projects which include recruiting and working with facilitators, teachers, government officials , volunteer and university students.
- Lead field observations for input on curriculum iteration and development, standard operating procedures that outline the program protocols around field implementation and program related databases.
- Attend all training sessions, building the capacity to be able to support training and facilitation of sessions.
- Support the execution of a scale strategy, work plans and milestones
- Liaise with and maintain healthy working relations with local programmatic stakeholders including government partners, CSOs, NGOs, academics, etc.
- Contribute to donor/funder milestone reports and program related reporting.
- Manage and ensure all organization assets are tracked, recorded, and handed over
Required experience and qualifications
- Bachelors’degree from any field
- 3-5 years’ experience in project, partnerships and stakeholder and management
- Proven ability to manage projects, teams, problem solve and build and maintain relationships in a diverse environment.
- Ability to build systems and create structure from the ground up in addition to nurturing and innovating on existing systems.
- Self-starter who is proactive, organized and can propose effective solutions to complex problems, ideate and innovate.
- Strong people and communication skills.
