Position: Team Leader / Senior Curriculum Development Specialist
Location: Honiara, Solomon Islands
Duration: 30 months
Project: ADB-Funded Senior Secondary Education Improvement Project
We’re looking for a dynamic leader to guide curriculum reform for senior secondary education (Years 10–12) in the Solomon Islands. This is a unique opportunity to shape inclusive, climate-resilient learning that equips students with the skills they need to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
As Team Leader, you’ll:
✅ Lead a multidisciplinary team across curriculum, assessment, and inclusion
✅ Collaborate closely with the Ministry of Education to develop curricula TLMs
✅ Oversee pilot initiatives and ensure quality implementation and scale-up
✅ Mentor national staff and build institutional capacity for lasting reform
Who we’re looking for:
📚 Advanced degree in Education or Curriculum Development
📆 15+ years in education development, including 8+ years leading curriculum work, particularly at the secondary level
🌱 Experience integrating gender, inclusion, and climate resilience into curriculum
🌏 Familiarity with Pacific Island contexts strongly preferred
