About the Role
Epic is looking for an experienced educator and community builder to lead outreach and engagement efforts with teachers and school networks. This role is essential to driving grassroots adoption of Epic through trusted educator relationships and school partnerships. You will be the voice and face of Epic to the K–6 teaching community, creating a bridge between our product and classroom use cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and nurture a vibrant community of K–6 educators who advocate for Epic in their schools and districts.
- Develop and implement outreach programs, webinars, and school-based initiatives to increase awareness and adoption.
- Establish and grow partnerships with teacher organizations, school districts, and educational nonprofits.
- Work cross-functionally with Growth, Product, and Customer Success teams to gather feedback and refine educator-focused strategies.
- Act as a thought leader in the K–6 education space, representing Epic at conferences and online educator communities.
- Identify and manage regional educator ambassadors and teacher influencer programs.
Qualifications
- At least 3-5 years of experience in K–6 education, community engagement, or education marketing.
- Prior classroom teaching experience strongly preferred, with reading/literacy related teaching background with K-G3 kids.
- Deep network within the elementary education community (teachers, administrators, schools).
- Proven track record in community building or school partnerships.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to present to and influence diverse education stakeholders.
- Passion for literacy, digital learning tools, and child development.
Salary Range: $90K–$140K annually (includes base + performance-based incentives)
