JOB PURPOSE
This role contributes to the BAT’ success in one of our focus areas, Mental Health. The role will support the project implementation of one of our mental health projects in Bangladesh.
The Mental Health Coordinator shall be responsible for clinical and operational management for specific mental health interventions in the Ready Made Garment industry. They are expected to conduct worker-based training sessions, supervision sessions and other similar focused activities. The role involves significant travel to various project sites
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Knowledge material development
- Develop psychosocial training materials, Standard Operating Procedures (SoP), presentations, learning modules
- Plan and develop checklist for monitoring and evaluation of capacity building activities followed by collecting regular reports to ensure effective implementation
- Develop counselling and supervision reports based on programme activities
Conducting training, workshops, seminars on different mental health concepts tools
- Conduct workshops, hold seminars, and offer training across Ready Made Garment factories
- Develop a follow up plan following training
- Conduct and supervise sessions as per programme objectives
Project implementation, reporting and monitoring
- Develop structured work plans for proposed project activities and ensure timely implementation
- Make necessary arrangements as and when required to ensure adjustments with troubleshooting and safeguarding concerns in a timely manner
- Conduct field visits to the targeted communities for monitoring and ensuring the quality of work.
- Assist in conducting survey, research activities and development of reports as per needs of the project.
- Prepare programme reports, case reports, analytical reports etc. as per the needs of the project.
- Identify and report any project obstacles, barriers, anticipated risk and implementation challenges.
Collaborative support of wider BAT Teams
- Support event management including event schedules, speakers, panelists, managing invitees and setting up venues. Where required draft speaking notes, press releases, briefs and presentations.
- Ensure key facts are readily available and that evidence-based key messages are being developed for the project.
Support the engagement with other advisory experts and organizations both locally and globally.
