Terms of Reference
GCC's new strategy charts its pathway to reaching 750 million lives, through the levers of innovative finance mechanisms, high-impact partnerships, policy influence, and strategic communications. GCC seeks a partnership operations consultant to strengthen systems and processes for managing partnerships across the organization.
Reporting to the Partnerships Associate, the consultant, the consultant will focus on optimizing internal systems and coordination to enable the team to meet its partnerships objectives. This includes, but is not limited to - developing support systems for GCC team to effectively identify, triage and nurture high impact partnerships across a range of partnership objectives, implementing an organization-wide partnership management processes, file organization plans for partnerships unit, and streamline workflows for partnerships-related resource development (decks, concept notes, etc.).
Timelines: 23 October 2025 – 18 December 2025
Compensation: $26 CAD / hour
Responsibilities:
1. Support the development of partnerships processes ▪ Support the Partnerships Associate in conducting a needs assessment to understand process/operational gaps around partnership management (i.e., CRM, handoffs points, event learnings, tracking follow-ups). ▪ Based on the outcome of the needs assessment, map potential way forward. Develop project plan to implement proposed changes. ▪ Implement proposed changes in coordination with various internal stakeholders as needed, and support development of a clear and concise SOP/guidance document.
2. Implement file re-organization plan for partnerships unit ▪ Collaborate with IT to implement file organization future state plans for the partnerships team, to ensure that materials and resources are organized logically and accessible to the necessary teams.
3. Refine and index partnerships-related materials ▪ Develop and/or refine and index templates for common partnerships-materials including concept notes and slide decks fit for specific use cases. ▪ Create and index a repository of spotlighted innovations across GCC's portfolios and geographies.
4. Adhoc partnerships operations support ▪ As needed, support the scoping of additional tools and approaches for internal coordination, partnerships management system enhancements, etc.
Competencies and Qualifications
- Excellent organizational, administrative, and time management skills
- Strong analytic, prioritization and project management skills with interest in process improvement and simplification
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and commitment to teamwork in order to work with and across different stakeholders to solve problems and bring tasks to completion, using a logical and systematic approach
- Ability to balance working independently, and to ask for support and guidance when needed
- Passion and positivity for what we do and the impact we seek in the world
- Experience with Microsoft Suite of services required; some experience with Monday.com or other CRM an asset.
- Undergraduate degree or commensurate work experience
- Candidates required to be based in Canada and able to overlap with Eastern Time working hours.
