Role Summary
Edraak is seeking a strong writer and relationship-builder to support and grow the organization’s local and regional partnerships. This role focuses on developing high-quality proposals and concept notes, preparing donor/client-facing presentations, and supporting engagement with private sector, philanthropic, and institutional partners. The Officer will work closely with internal teams to translate Edraak’s solutions and impact into compelling narratives and clear deliverables, while supporting a healthy partnership pipeline and strong stewardship among key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Proposal & Concept Note Development
- Draft proposals, concept notes, and pitch decks aligned with partner priorities and Edraak’s offerings.
- Support the collection of key inputs across teams (organizational capacity/experience, M&E, communications, finance) to produce accurate submissions to RFPs, the development of innovative and impactful concepts, and reporting.
- Maintain and improve proposal assets: templates, boilerplate language, project snapshots, and partner-ready case studies.
- Support the preparation of budgets and work plans, and ensure narrative, indicators, and costing are consistent.
Donor/Client Engagement & Presentations
- Prepare polished presentations for partner meetings, briefings, and events; tailor messaging to different audiences.
- Support partner meetings and follow-ups (meeting notes, next steps, and timely responses to information requests).
- Represent Edraak in networking settings and partnership events; build relationships with CSR teams, foundations, and institutional stakeholders.
Stewardship, Reporting & Partner Visibility
- Draft donor reports and progress updates that clearly communicate results, stories, and learning.
- Coordinate partner visibility deliverables in line with branding guidelines and partner agreements (e.g., social media, press, case studies).
Pipeline Management & Prospect Research
- Conduct prospect research and prepare briefings on potential partners and funding opportunities (priorities, cycles, decision-makers).
- Support partnership planning and renewals by maintaining timelines, documentation, and readiness of key materials.
- Track partnership activity in a CRM or tracking system and support pipeline reporting.
Coordination & Documentation
- Support partnership documentation (letters, MoUs, agreements) and ensure systematic filing of key documents.
- Coordinate internally to support the timely delivery of partnership commitments and smooth partner communication.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, international development, or a related field.
- 3–4 years of relevant experience in proposal writing, partnerships/fundraising support, business development, or donor relations.
- Excellent Arabic writing, editing, and speaking; strong English writing and speaking.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to translate complex work into clear, persuasive messages.
- Strong research skills and close attention to detail; able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace (especially PowerPoint and other visual tools)
- Familiarity with online learning/education programming is a plus; Canva/design tools are a plus.
