Position: Project Manager, FLN Instructional Design and Implementation
Position Summary: You will play a pivotal role in translating strategy into strong on-ground results across districts and schools. This role strengthens the implementation of Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) programs across districts by focusing on three areas:
- Designing FLN Teacher Support Tools : Create high-quality instructional resources that enhance teacher capacity and classroom effectiveness:
- Learning outcome frameworks, structured lesson plans, student worksheets, and formative assessments
- Coaching and mentoring protocols
- Explainer videos, presentations, nudges, and other learning collateral
- Teacher professional development workshops and instructional video content
- Ensuring High-Quality Field Implementation: Drive consistent and effective on-ground delivery of FLN programs through field visits and data analytics:
- Field insight reports and data snapshot decks
- Observation tools, trackers, and progress monitoring systems
- Student learning outcomes trends through assessments
- Classroom practices insights through classroom observations
- Academic support and teacher mentoring practices
- Enable continuous capacity-building: Strengthen knowledge and skills of CSF team members and state-side functionaries on quality implementation
- Delivering in-person and virtual training sessions
- Facilitating workshops with government and technical partners
- Providing field coaching and shadowing support
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes: We seek a Curriculum and Implementation Specialist with strong grounding in early-grade instructional design and teacher development.
Domain Knowledge:
- Degree or fellowship in Teaching and Learning, Education, or related field
- Evidence-informed understanding of Structured Pedagogy applied to Foundational Literacy & Numeracy, Lesson Planning, Assessment-Informed Instruction and Instructional Coaching
- Strong communication in English and Hindi (reading, writing, and presenting academic content)
- Data fluency—able to manage Excel sheets, analyze learning data, and derive practical insights
Professional Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of primary-grade teaching (Grades 1–5) in Math & Hindi/English, preferably in under-resourced schools
- Minimum 2 years of curriculum design and program implementation experience in an education non-profit or service organization
- Hands-on field experience working with government school teachers, mentors, and district officials in rural and semi-urban contexts
