By supporting innovative initiatives, fostering cross-sector collaboration, and enabling meaningful participation, the foundation creates sustainable impact on a global scale. On behalf of our client, we are seeking a structured, analytically strong, and highly reliable individual as
Strategy & Governance Specialist
You will work closely with the Executive Team on strategic projects and governance processes. You will be responsible for preparing Foundation Board meetings and strategic retreats, ensuring that agendas, materials, and decision-making documents are clear, well-structured, and of high quality. You will actively support the organisation’s strategic development by conducting analyses, preparing decision-making processes, and helping drive the implementation of key initiatives. A core part of your role is to take ownership of topics, move them forward independently, and ensure consistent follow-through. You will also contribute to financial planning and oversight, consolidating relevant information and supporting leadership with clear and concise insights.
We are looking for an academically qualified professional with initial, solid experience in strategy, governance, and/or finance – for example in a comparable staff function, in consulting, or within an institutional environment. You are familiar with the Swiss institutional context and comfortable operating in this setting. You enjoy working in a role that combines analytical thinking with hands-on execution and personal responsibility. You are able to quickly grasp complex topics, structure them clearly, and present them in a way that is appropriate for senior stakeholders. Your working style is characterised by ownership, reliability, and attention to detail. You are an excellent writer in English and confident in preparing high-quality materials; good German skills are an asset.
You can expect a high-visibility role with direct exposure to key strategic topics in an international, purpose-driven environment. Modern working conditions and a collaborative team provide the ideal setting for you to make an impact. If you are motivated to make an impact, we look forward to receiving your application by 30 April 2026. A valid Swiss work permit or EU/EFTA citizenship is required.
