About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional quantitative researcher to contribute to cutting-edge work on the evaluation of education technology and innovation. The role focuses on designing and implementing rigorous research and evaluation studies in Global South to address foundational learning (literacy and numeracy). The candidate will contribute to developing impact measurement frameworks and translating complex data into actionable insights for global stakeholders (policy-makers, procurement teams, investors).

Key Responsibilities

Design and lead quantitative and mixed-methods research and evaluation studies

Essential Requirements

PhD in a relevant field (e.g., education, economics, psychology, data science, social sciences, or related discipline)
Strong expertise in quantitative research methods and statistical analysis
Demonstrated experience in evaluation (e.g., impact evaluation, MEL, experimental or quasi-experimental design)
Proficiency in relevant analytical tools (e.g., R, Python, Stata, or similar)
Experience working with complex, real-world datasets
and Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to non-technical audiences
Experience working in international or cross-cultural contexts

Desirable

Experience in EdTech, education policy, or global development
Familiarity with impact frameworks and benchmarking approaches
and Interest in responsible and ethical uses of data and AI

Working Requirements

Fully remote role, with availability for regular collaboration within CET-compatible working hours
and Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
